Join our team of volunteers to clean our shoreline and river of plastics and debris!
Rivertowns SUP & Yoga is proud to co-lead this year’s event in Sleepy Hollow by paddling on the Hudson to pick up litter at the beaches of Kingsland Point Park and Horan’s Landing as well as on the Hudson in between!
Event is RAIN or SHINE - if weather is unsuitable for ON WATER cleanup, we will focus on the beaches. ON WATER volunteers must have paddle experience and neoprene is recommended.
SUP rentals will be available for Rivertowns SUP & Yoga clients - contact tara@rivertownssupyoga.com to reserve.
Our SUP Yoga Teacher Training & PaddleFit Core Certification will provide you with the necessary tools and skills to coach and guide people safely & confidently on the water for stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), SUP Yoga, and SUP fitness classes. This training has a strong emphasis on paddle skills and water safety so we can help others feel safe, empowered, and inspired on the water!
Join us in celebrating the history of Kingsland Point Park and the revitalization of the Hudson River with the second Annual Mermaid Festival. This event aims to raise awareness about our community’s needs for river youth engagement, water access, and water safety education.
Organized by the Sleepy Hollow Project and in partnership with Riverkeeper, this family friendly event will be filled with fun activities, history, environmental education, vendors, food, live music, and of course… a Mermaid Parade both on land and ON WATER!

Paddle in Purple Alzheimer’s Fundraiser & Annual Bridge Lighting Event Returns!
Join our team, Rivertowns SUP & Yoga - Purple Paddlers & Riverwalkers, and help us raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Participate by paddling on the Hudson or walking along the Riverwalk. Return to Horan’s Landing Waterfront Park for the Bridge Lighting Party and to watch the bridge turn purple in honor of those lost or struggling with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
Paddle/Walk 5:30-6:30pm ($55 donation)
Bridge Lighting Party 6-8pm (FREE to attend)
Don’t want to paddle? You can still donate to the fundraiser! Proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Searching for a wicked sight? Come to Kingsland Point Park for the Annual SUP Witches Paddle Fest where the witches gather and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” is told. Join the witches on the water or stroll along the riverwalk and watch the witches pass by. Just be careful not to lose your head! You never know when the Headless Horseman may appear. Vendors, food, brews, live music & spooky views! A memorable event for all!
