Paddle in Purple Fundraiser & the Annual Bridge Lighting
PADDLE IN PURPLE shirts are available with paddle registration and/or with a donation to our team. Select your size when you register or contact Tara to request a shirt. Shirts are printed and donated by Leway Enterprises in honor of Dale Scheller.

6:00 - 8:00PM — Bridge Lighting Watch Party
Join our team, Rivertowns SUP & Yoga - Purple Paddlers. Paddle on the Hudson River or walk along the Riverwalk to help support the Alzheimer’s Association. We launch at 5:30pm and will return to Horan’s Landing Waterfront Park at 6:30pm before the sun sets to watch the bridge turn purple in honor of those lost or struggling with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
$55/paddler ($50 donation to Alzheimer’s Association + additional fees)
Options for registration:
BYOBoard/Kayak (SUP leash and PFD are required)
SUP Rental (Rivertowns SUP & Yoga clients ONLY*): board, paddle, PFD (life vest) & safety whistle (limited availability)
Walk along the Riverwalk
16 and older (unless approved in advance - contact Tara for age restrictions & guidelines)
Maximum weight capacity for our boards:
225 lbs. - 10’ Glide Lotus Boards
300 lbs. - 11’ Glide SUP Boards
Paddlers MUST be able to swim!
PADDLE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED if participating ON WATER.
This paddle is a special event, in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. There will be live music and food at the Bridge Lighting Watch Party 6-8pm.
*DUE TO INSURANCE, SUP Rentals are only available to clients who have received paddle boarding instruction from a Rivertowns SUP & Yoga Coach/Instructor.

SUP - CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event of adverse weather and/or water conditions, Rivertowns SUP & Yoga will cancel the paddle and notify all registrants. The Bridge Lighting Watch Party is rain or shine.
48-hr cancellation policy — due to limited availability of Rivertowns SUP & Yoga equipment, please cancel your reservation at least 48-hrs in advance so equipment can be available for others.
